Services

  • White's Auctions holds approximately four to six antique and collectible auctions per year, with additions as needed.  
  •  Auctions are generally held on Tuesday evenings beginning at 6:30PM at the Middleboro Lodge of Elks (24 High Street). Previews on site from 2:00PM to auction start. Quite often there is a preview the day before, as hall availability allows.
  • Auctions are generally unreserved, giving both the buyer a fair opportunity for purchase and the consignor a lively competitive situation to achieve the highest price for their item(s).
  • White's advertises each auction extensively in trade publications, via the internet, hand circulated flyers and direct mail.
  • All bidders are registered and bid by number. White's runs a numbered auction (usually approximately 150-250 lots).
  • Absentee bids are welcome and are executed competitively and confidentially. Absentees, however, are accepted as a courtesy and White's is in no way liable for any error or failure to execute bids.
  • Telephone bidding must be arranged in advance, based on availability . PLEASE ASK FOR KATHRYN BLACK.
  • Successful absentee bidders will be notified the day after the auction. Payment, pick up or shipping is arranged.
  • Consignors are paid quickly, generally within two weeks or less of the auction date.
    • All items sold as is, where is. 
    • Every effort is made to catalogue and represent items to the best of our knowledge, however, buyer discretion should be exercised. 
    • All lots sold to highest bidder.
    • Auctioneer reserves the right to pass any lots for which there is not a fair opening bid.
    • All bidders are subject to the Conditions of Sale.
    • An Auction is an Auction and while every effort is made to secure the highest sale price, no guarantees are made should auction results fall below estimates or expectations.
